The last QuickBooks Online update for 2015 featured two main improvements: attachments in the register and additional editing in the bank feeds.
You can now add attachments to transactions in the register. If you have a receipt, invoice, purchase order, etc associated with a transaction in the register, you can now attach that document to the transaction itself. To do this in QBO, you must first select ‘Attachments’ from the gear icon on the register screen. Once that’s done, you can click on a transaction and there will be a blue link on the bottom left corner which you can click to Add Attachment.
Bank Feed Improvement
QBO has rolled out additional editing features from the bank feeds screen. Once on the Banking screen, click the Gear icon (to the right of the Print icon) and you’ll see a new option to edit the Check no. Once clicked, an additional column will appear where you can edit the check number.
